Ruben Raven is an multidisciplinary artist who's installations of paintings, ceramic and mechanical designs observe how relationships between humans, objects and material unfolds. He channels these interconnections into collections that exhibit behaviors and questions people's unconscious creative capacity.

 

Fragments of forgotten memories are trapped into everlasting ceramic vestiges which are testimonies of our desires and which project moments of both contemplation and abandonment. The work intricately ties in the implication of value and our penchant to judge of the significance of things and projects the emotional impact of collecting or discarding them. The afterlife of things and their fantasy finally traces back up to a regeneration.
