Josilda da Conceição presents a duo-presentation of Juliëtte de Graaf and Aaron Harris, two artists mainly engaged in painterly medium. Juliette de Graaf's work is a curious exploration into the way materials communicate with their spectator and tap into their impulses. All works are part of a story, an unwinding story that depicts personal as well as art historical concepts.

Aaron Harris contributes a recent body of work from the series "Book & Sanitary Shop”, depicting household appliances and other utilitarian objects next to drawings of erotic nature. 

Alongside the paintings of both artist, intimate sculptural works of de Graaf will be displayed in the booth.

The proposed duo presentation highlights the similarities and contrasts between two painters, and their distinct vocabularies of story-telling and documenting.
