Working mainly with lens based media, she investigates notions of identity relating to gender, race, nationality and other factors that define us.

In her videos and photographs she reminds us of how constructed our life spheres really are by investigating the relations between the body and its surroundings. Sometimes this environment is a social one. In other cases it is a physical one and sometimes we are surrounded more by our expectations than anything else .She points out how we construct our looks, the idea of home and belonging and our notions of sexuality, danger and desire.
